Use the Lightroom 2 Graduated Filter to Add Drama

by DCT on April 6, 2009

lightroom-graduatedHere is a tutorial that’ll show you how to use Lightoom’s Graduated Filter and the Adjustment brush to take a good landscape photo and manually add a dramatic effect.

With the release of Lightroom 2 photographers now have the ability to apply corrections to specific areas of photographs. Having the ability to alter contrast or saturation corrections to one section of the picture while leaving the rest of the image unaltered can create nothing less than dramatic effects.

Find the tutorial here.

Thanks for the tips. Lightroom 2 is an excellent resource for making your images “pop”.
