Sony’s 2GB Memory Stick PRO Released

Sony’s 2GB Memory Stick PRO: Finally, Sony Japan has announced the release of the 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo (High-Speed) cards. (it’s about time) This card has had several false starts with premature release notifications. High-Speed in the products name indicates the cards have a transfer rate of 80Mbps (10MB/sec), which is FAST.
High-Speed mode is only supported in devices that say so explicitly, but the Stick will still work on any device that accepts Duo Pros.
