Sony’s 10.3 megapixel Cyber-shot SSC-R1 has had a user review posted at Photographic Review and here’s their opinion. “Very impressive picture Quality and an unique stellar fixed Zoom lens without any problems with Dust on Sensor. Sony listened to the 7×7 and 8×8 users and improved some features, for example - timed exposure, - 2nd parameter Dial, - quick switch from playback to record mode via half- pressing the shutter release button - focus push button in manual focusing, - exact flash exposure correction, - complete technical information in the EVF/LCD, - Grid lines for picture composing and architectural shots in the viewfinder, - overexposure warning via “Zebra mode”, - histogramm for all RGB channels. - improved LCD/EVF - information board about important fotographic paramaters like exposure time, f-Stop, ISO, etc. under (oand therefore outside) the preview pic in EVF/LCD This means also: If You are familiar with the 7×7 or 8×8 Sony cameras, you can use also the R1.
