Imaging-Resource – 19 September’07 – reviews the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T20 and writes;
“The Sony T20 is a stylish and inexpensive digital camera, featuring a powerful Bionz processor, smart face detection technology that goes beyond mere focus assistance to exposure control, both high ISO sensitivity (to 3200) and image stabilization with Super SteadyShot, and HD output for stills with built-in special effects and music (but you do have to buy an accessory to connect it to your HDTV). Like other Sony cameras, the T20 sacrifices detail for color, especially at higher ISO settings. But that isn’t really an issue with 4×6 prints or even images displayed on your monitor.”
Cameras.co.uk reviews the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T20 and writes;
“I like the Sony DSC T20. It stands up well against other pocket sized digital cameras. It is likely to prove attractive owing to its looks, ease of use and low shutter delay times. The low shutter delay times mean that you should not miss a picture!”
CNET – 7/20/2007 – reviews the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T20 and writes, “The Cyber-shot DSC-T20 is a nice ultracompact, with most of the features that consumers are looking for in a point-and-shoot camera. However, Sony could do better at keeping noise under control at higher ISOs, or just not include and tout those higher sensitivity settings in the first place. Ultimately, the T20 is a nice, stylish, solidly built camera, which is a good choice in its price range as long as you look beyond the hype, remember to prefocus, and stick to the lower ISO settings.”
Good Gear Guide – 5/23/2007 – reviews the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T20 and writes, “What it lacked in features, the T20 made up for in speed. It was lightning fast in all of our tests. Exhibiting 0.05 seconds of shutter lag, 1.5 seconds power up time and just over a second between shots. These are extremely quick times, and are certain to mean you won’t miss a vital shot. The unit sports a 3x optical zoom, which is completely standard for a camera of this type.”

Sony Dsc T20
Hi there, can someone take me thro best night settings for this sony camera, because i have been missing out on important functions due to the picture quality of this camera. fuzziness, and reddishness are the main factors that contribute to the picture quality. secondly if you taking a picture where there is not light at all you are wwasting your time because it wont come right.
please help me out.
thanx in advance
i have had my sony Dsc T20 for 14 months, it first developed a mottled effect on the screen which i can live with, but now has started to vibrate on the auto focus.i took it to the sony agents but they want to charge more to repair it than the camera is worth. the said problem is intermittent although it does have a quick buzz every time it is turned on.can anybody give me some advice as i am very happy with the camera but cannot trust it to work when needed.
