ePhotozine - 5/30/2007 - has reviews Samsung S730 and they write, “For a budget price camera the DigiMax S730 performed reasonably well, with good rendition of detail in both the landscape test and portrait test, although mixes containing blue were slightly out in the colour chart test. With good results in all ISO modes and the Macro function, the S730 is easy to use, good value for money and an ideal starter camera for any first-time digital camera buyer.”
TrustedReviews - 5/7/2007 - has reviewed the 7.2 megapixel Samsung S730 and they write, “When used in good light and at low ISO settings, the Samsung S730 is a decent snapshot camera with good handling and performance, and a wider range of features than many budget compacts, but its very poor low light focusing means it will be of limited use in many social occasions. Build quality could also be better, but all in all not bad value for money.”

I was really impressed with the quality of the photos and the features of the camera, but the battery life is terrible. It’s really power-hungry and just running on 2 AA batteries. I love the camera. If you do get this camera, I suggest, instead of buying batteries left and right, get a battery charger and some rechargeable AA batteries. All in all though, It’s a pretty good camera and I will always love it.
