CNET
“Photo quality is pretty good for a camera in the E60’s class. It renders vibrant, accurate color under both indoor and outdoor lighting, and photos are relatively sharp; Pentax errs on the side of a more natural look rather than oversharpening like many manufacturers.”

“The Optio E60 was able to produce usable outdoor photos, showed good shooting performance results in single exposure mode, and has loads of useful exposure options for the beginner to novice user. The only annoyances I found were the sluggish “Continuous” shooting mode, higher than normal image noise, and the unpleasant movie mode.”

Espio E60:
It has quite an appetite for batteries, after only about ten photos at 3Mpix. Mine refused to extend the lens when the battery symbol was still 2/3 good.
The measured voltage of each cell was only down from 1.5 to 1.47 volt! The camera does, however, seem to accept rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (says so in the PDF manual). Anyone similar experience?
