Despite heavy testing and playing with options I was not able to get better resolution or quality using RAW. Here is what I did: all contrast/sharpness/saturation/noise reduction under film mode in the LX3 settings set to minus 2 (lowest) and plus 2 (highest). Convert from RW2 to TIF using SilkyPix, sharpening and noise reduction disabled. Comparison between JPG, TIF with or without LX3-film mode settings showed differences in color, saturation, contrast, but not resolution/sharpness. RAW useless ?????</p> Got my LX3 yesterday.
