ImagingResource – 14 January’08 – reviews the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ7 and notes that because of high image noise large prints are probably not a good idea. Here’s a summary of their review -
“For the price this camera has an impressive array of features. If your needs include low image noise and high quality photos then this may not be your best camera choice. It tends to startup slow and shot-to-shot tends to be a little on the slow side also. When you crank the camera to wide angle there is a fair amount of barrel distortion and last but not least the flash performance is not earth shaking in that it required the reviewer to make a +1.3EV adjustment to get a proper exposure.”
Cameras.co.uk – 6/1/2007 – has reviewed the Panasonic DMC-LZ7 and they write, “The Panasonic DMC LZ7 offers twice the standard amount of zoom for only a little more money than a fairly basic digital camera. It is easy to use and takes a decent, if not perfect, picture.”
DigitalCameraInfo – 3/16/2007 – has a first impressions review of the Panasonic DMC-LZ7 and they write, “At a relatively inexpensive price for a 7-megapixel camera, the Lumix DMC-LZ7 would be a fun camera for those who like to play with settings but who may not be serious image takers. With its 7.2 megapixels, enlargements for weddings, portraits, or vacation shots should be no problem for this camera.”

SECAUCUS, N.J., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ — Panasonic today added two new members to its growing family of high performance Lumix digital cameras with the introduction of the DMC-LZ7 and DMC-LZ6. Thanks to Panasonic’s careful redesign inside and out, both models offer more power, better image control and a new sleek and stylish appearance, yet still are smaller and lighter than previous Lumix models.
