Olympus FE-3010 announced on January 7, 2009 is a digitally image stabilized 12 megapixel compact digital camera that features 3x optical zoom, 2.7 inch LCD, face detection, 19 shooting modes, YouTube upload, ISO 100 to 1600, camera dimensions are 3.7″W x 2.2″H x 0.70″D, with lens 0.79″D (93mm x 55.8mm x 17.8mm, with lens 20.1mm) and it weighs 3.8oz (108g) without batteries and memory card.

“Olympus makes great SLRs, decent compact cameras but they have a long way to go with ‘super cheap’ cameras. I’d pass on the FE3010 as you can find better cameras out there. For the same price as the FE3010, you could pick up a Canon A480 or one of the Panasonic LS/FS cameras which perform better in terms of speed and image quality. Not to mention they don’t compromise on features such as burst mode.”
