PhotoRadar has published their review analysis and verdict of the Nikon Coolpix 3100 and here’s their summary – ‘When it comes to performance the S3100 in good light focuses really quickly with the it subject tracking able to perform well with moving objects, just as long as they don’t move too fast. When trying to takes close-ups the reviewer found the macro just a little disappointing and concluded that if you like take close-ups this is probably not your camera.when you find yourself in darker situations the S3100′s auto focus begins to struggle particularly with objects close to the macro range.
Bottom Line: This camera is the perfect choice for people who want a basic stylish compact camera. It is really good for sliding into a pocket and pack around or it great for birthdays and parties. And in the end it delivers outstanding photos that can be made into great prints.’
