Nikon’s 6 megapixel Coolpix S3 has been reviewed at Bytesector and they write. “This camera experiences problems with pictures taken at really low shutter speed. I had to retake a couple of pictures because they would come out blurry, and for a person like me with rather unsteady hands, it is quite an inconvenience. The size of the camera can probably be attributed to this fault too, since the base is very small; there is little surface area for the photographer to work with. If it were up to me, I’d have Nikon shift the shooter button over near the center more, so two or three fingers on the right side could compensate for the thumb’s coverage of the bottom. If you don’t want frequently blurry pictures, I would recommend learning to steady your hand or picking up a small tripod with the S3.”
