CNET – 13 October’07 – reviews the Nikon Coolpix L10 and indicates this a well priced quality digital camera for the budget conscious. Here’s an excerpt from the review -
“For such an unassuming little camera, the Nikon Coolpix L10 actually works pretty well. It’s responsive enough for casual shooting, and its (admittedly small) 5-megapixel photos look great. If you’re looking for a simple, functional camera for less than $150, this makes a great choice.”
Pocket-lint reviews the Nikon Coolpix L10 and writes;
“The L10’s focusing issues and the problems with the auto white balance are reminiscent of the L12 I recently tested, but you have to bear in mind this is a budget model and compromises must be made when you’re on a budget.

It is still a budget model that nevertheless packs in some neat extras that elevate it above being just a simple snapper.”
Good Gear Guide reviews the Nikon Coolpix L10 and really like the fundamental design of the camera, in fact, they thinks it’s the camera’s main selling point. Why did they like the design so much? Mainly because this camera is tiny. Another standout feature was Nikon’s best shot mode. this takes the pressure of picture takers by capturing images in a variety of exposures and lets the user pick which one they like the best. Cool!

Bottom Line: Tiny camera, Nikon’s best shot mode and it even comes with face detection.

TechTree reviews the Nikon Coolpix L10 and offers the following verdict. Here’s a compact and easy to use digital camera and the only downside is the reviewer indicated the menu system is true Nikon style and may take getting used to. (Sounds like the TechTree review does not like the Nikon menu structure)

Bottom Line: Great camera with good photo quality. With a low price tag this camera is easily one of best deals for a quality digital camera.

Imaging Resource reviews the Nikon Coolpix L10 and thinks this camera is about as simple as it gets. don’t expect features like manual control that’s not the market this camera is target to. It been built for the person who wants to just grab the shot and not have to think about it, let the camera do it all.

Bottom Line: This camera is an exceptional bargin. Good image quality and a decent feature set help to make it a very choice for the budget conscious.

PC World – 6/23/2007 – reviews the Nikon Coolpix L10 and they write, “Overall, the Coolpix L10 is an attractive package if you’re looking for a simple camera that has a low price and that will fit in your pocket.”
Steve’s Digicams – 6/15/2007 – reviews the Nikon Coolpix L10 and they write, “The Nikon Coolpix L10 is a nice little 5-megapixel digital package. With good image quality/performance, and plenty of exposure modes, the L10 is sure to make any user looking for an affordable entry-level model happy. With an MSRP of US$119 or less, I feel the Coolpix L10 offers an excellent value.”
Gear Digest – 6/8/2007 – reviews the Nikon Coolpix L10 and they write, “However, though lacking a viewfinder, I found the Nikon CoolPix L10 to have the best rounded feature set of the cameras I reviewed. It featured more shooting modes than either of the other cameras, and easily won bragging rights for video. And, it took great pictures.”
TrustedReviews – 3/26/2007 – tests the 5.0 megapixel Nikon Coolpix L10 and they write, “For a budget camera the L10 has much to recommend it, with superb build quality, sensible and attractive design, good performance and excellent battery life. It even has some features that you’d not expect to find this far down the price scale. It’s only weaknesses are poor low-light focusing and less-than-sparkling picture quality, but if you’re on a very tight budget you have to make certain sacrifices.”
