New Sensor Prevents Blinking In Digital Images

May 26, 2005

New Sensor Prevents Blinking In Digital Images: Japanese developer Masahide Kaneko have developed an image-analysis system for digital cameras that eliminate blinking. Kaneko’s system gets around the blinking problem by taking 15 frames in 0.5 seconds after the shutter button is clicked. A computer then rapidly analyses the digital images images, discarding those in which the subject is blinking. Should make life easier for digital camera owners.
