GoodGearGuide
“You will probably do most of your shooting in auto mode, which will produce acceptable images overall. However, you shouldn’t expect stellar clarity, exposure and detail. Colours were not overly vibrant but also didn’t look underdone.”

CNET reviews the Kodak EasyShare M1063 and they write -
“When our favourite thing about a gadget is the price, you know it’s a not an exciting gadget. It’s hard to find anything noteworthy about the Kodak EasyShare M1063, apart from the large screen.”

Owner Feedback

“I was looking for something simple and compact. The Kodak M1063 is compact, but it is not a simple camera. Don’t get me wrong, it is very easy to navigate the different functions. What I mean is the camera does much more than I expected it to. Also, the quality of pictures is good as any camera of this type that I have seen.”

I like my new Kodak EasyShare M1063 until I try to take a picture in bright sunshine. Then I can’t see anything in the viewfinder. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Peter,

Most compacts do not do well at distances when using flash. There’s just not enough horse power to light the scene. And, it’s not just your camera, most compacts just can’t pull off distance flash photos. Wish I had better news, but it’s a limitation of the device.

Folks. This is the worst camera by Kodak. Do not waste your money on it. It takes crappy picture. I hate it evey day. I had a 5 mp camera which took better pictures than this one. It creates its own colors. What you see is not what you get. even though it is a point and shoot, i would recommend you to buy any other camera than this. When i was about to buy it, i did not find any useful reviews and I wasted my money on it. So don’t do the mistake I did.

John, you are so dead on! I ended up buying a DSLR because the other camera couldn’t hack what I wanted.

I hated it too every day. I am so glad I got a new camera. Don’t waste your money on it. Resell it or just give it to the kids! (LOL)

I had a different Easyshare that I had for a long time that was great so therefore, I wanted another one. I wish I hadn’t bought this one. The camera kept shutting off on me, battery fully charged, so I exchanged it, same thing, exchanged again, it still happens only not as much now. I can only crop photos on certain ones, the photo quality is questionable in certain lights, and it only uploads certain photos onto the computer, I have to do the rest of them manually (select and transfer). I’m not happy at all with this camera, I wish I never bought it.
