Pocket-lint - 25 October’07 - has reviewed the Kodak EasyShare M753 and sharred that the on/off button is too easy to get confused with the flash mode button. Here’s an excerpt from their review verdict -
“So on the face of it, when you put all this together it makes the M753 look rather poor, but when you remember that this camera is a penny short of £90, you’re actually getting what you pay for, that is a budget digital compact with a modest range of good features and some that could do better.”

This camera has been a piece of garbage since I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my 13 year daughter. Originally we attempted to charge it utilizing the method outlined in the instruction (using the USB cable) and that didn’t work. Therefore, I took it back to BestBuy and was told that that was the case for most people so I needed to purchase a USB AC adapter that plugs into the wall. I purchased that device. I discovered the camera would charge for a few minutes and quit. Went back to BestBuy saying it must be the camera. They said no and gave me another adapter. Same thing happened. Well it has been 7 months now and we have been able to use the camera for a total of 6 pictures. I don’t know if I will ever purchase another Kodak product again.

I had a little boy in December and I took all the pictures of him from day one on the camera and the other day all my pictures were deleted off the camera and memory card. I would never recommend this camera to anyone else. Kodak 7.0

Watchout for Kodak! There was no instructions on how to copy photos to you computer and you will find that you computer will not recgonize the M753 as a drive therefore you will need a CD card reader. Also the EasyShare software is included and required and that program is pure garbage.
With the camera itself blurring is common especially indoors. There are better available at the same price

I really love the kodak cameras specially C series but the last year I comited a error buying the M753 (Nov 2007).

Kodak said “M Series have a excelent quality / price”
I say “M series is garbage my 2 MP cell phone takes best pictures , 7MP jajajajajajajaaja”

If you want a camera with poor resolution in 7MP buy now M753.

My mom bought me this camera for my photography class in school. I LOVE IT! I don’t know why people are being so hard on this camera. My camera takes great pictures and records great videos. Its easy to use and the battery lasts me a long time. I didn’t even have to read the manual. You can just play with it and you’ll figure out everything EASILY.
