ISO Is The New Megapixel

Current wisdom indicates the megapixel race is over. As technology pushes onward with better sensors, more intelligent image processors, crisper glass – and camera manufacturers need something to sell us every year so we upgrade last years camera for this year’s model. Speculators say that by next year, ISO speeds will likely be the news of the day. Low-light performance is the new target. Most people would gladly trade half the megapixels for twice the light sensitivity.
