The M737’s best feature is ease of use. Point and shoot. It powers up quick and is ready to take a picture in about 5 seconds. That time includes shuting off the flash. Using flash takes longer as it needs to charge. It also has a wonderful LDC. Large, bright and clear. Some of the issues I have with this camea are 1) you can’t set the focus distance except in macro mode. This means you can’t snap a shot through a window. 2) the zoom is too fast. It seems to be designed to either be set to no zoom or full zoom. A push of the button and bam, fully zoomed in. 3) No infolithium battery. This price range gets you AA batteries. This is my first camera to not have infolithium and I feel it’s worth the extra cost. it saves in the long run if you use the camera. Plus you don’t have to keep so many batteries handy. 4) lastly, the menu interface is complete, but requires lots of navigating to do simple things. It’s pretty easy to use but requires some practice. For instance, to shut off the flash, there is a flash button, but after setting the mode, you have to go to the bottom of the camera to hit “OK” to set the mode. Still simple, but frustrating.

Even though I set the camera to the highest quality (i.e. 8MP) it still only takes photos which a resolution of 4MP or less. I bought a new SDHC card thinking that was the issue, but nothing seems to work!
