Fujifilm FinePix F470 Review at Bytesector

June 20, 2006

Bytesector reviewed of the 6 megapixel Fujifilm FinePix F470 and indicates its one of the slowest cameras they have looked at in the past year. They go on to write -

“From turning it on to the time you take the first shot, you will have to wait about 2 to 3 seconds. In addition to this, the shutter lag is just average, and focus time is fairly slow as well. Because of this, the camera proved to be unwieldy for action shots and close to useless if I had only a few seconds to turn on the camera and fire off a shot.”

The big difference between this and the others I’ve looked at in the past is the fact that the F470 doesn’t allow very much manual adjustment. For a simple point and shoot camera, this is definitely a very good thing since Fuji ’s interface is by far one of the easiest to use out there.
