LensHoods.co.uk has a novel idea – Make your own lens hood. On their site you can download printable PDF files that contain lens hoods for a variety of 35mm and digital SLR camera lenses. Considering the cost of items like lens hoods this seems to be a pretty creative and free approach. Walk into your local camera store and take a moment to check the prices of lens hoods. You’ll find they are WAY over priced for what you get.
