Davic Pogue of The New York Times ran a story highlighting the end of an era for film cameras. What was interesting is that he also points out that megapixel counting has probably reached an end of the road also. Now that film cameras have died and consumers are comfortable with digital cameras manufacturers no longer no longer feel compelled to mimic the size, shape and features of film cameras. With the upcoming Florida Photo Marketing Association convention we could look for more radical and talented digital cameras.
