Davic Pogue of The New York Times ran a story highlighting the end of an era for film cameras. What was interesting is that he also points out that megapixel counting has probably reached an end of the road also. Now that film cameras have died and consumers are comfortable with digital cameras manufacturers no longer no longer feel compelled to mimic the size, shape and features of film cameras. With the upcoming Florida Photo Marketing Association convention we could look for more radical and talented digital cameras.

Creating beautiful panoramas is both easy and artistically rewarding. In this article at Digital Camera Magazine you’ll learn the easy way to create the perfect panorama. In order to to create a smooth and convincing perfect panorama Digital Camera Magazine writes, “Photoshop is obviously capable of blending your images using Photomerge, but this process can be tedious and the results are often mixed. Because of this we’ve decided to ‘prepare’ our images in Photoshop, but we’ll stitch them together using Realviz’s Stitcher Express software. Stitcher Express has been purpose-made for this type of work, and makes it supremely easy to create fantastic-looking panoramas.”
In other words, if you’re an eBay seller or you sell products online this article is for you.

One of the oldest camera forms is the pinhole and Dennsion Bertman has published a very cool hack at DigiHack that shows you how turn your DSLR into a pinhole camera. If that sound interesting to you then we’re sure the price tag will agree with you, because all you need is a body cap and some tin foil.

The simplicity of the camera has always attracted artists and experimenters who enjoy the soft focus look of the pinhole.
