Picasa Web Albums First Peek at Inside Google

Inside Google has published a new preview of the upcoming Picasa Web Albums Website. At this point Picasa Web Albums is by invite-only, however, early reviewers found a way in and this review is based on one of those “early entries.” Inside Google writes -

“In the end, weâ€™ve got two powerful services with great online interfaces and lots of options for users. Flickrâ€™s got a base that wonâ€™t likely switch with too similar a service, unless Google develops a migration tool. However, Googleâ€™s desktop software, which is often compared to iPhoto, is too much of an excellent product not to woo new users, and it will back up Web Albums and cause a lot of users to use Picasa and the web service.”
