Steve’s Digicams - 3/5/2007 - has reviewed the 6.1 megapixel Kodak EasyShare V610 and writes, “The Kodak Easyshare V610 is a unique Ultra-Zoom in a stylish compact case and has a street price of $250 or less. I really liked this little digicam for all the zoom power packed into such a small size. 40X zoom is in the range of spotting scopes yet the V610 is much smaller and fits just about anywhere. With its easy to use controls, Kodak’s PERFECT TOUCH and Anti-blur Technologies, the V610 will make a great first digicam for newbies and is also a good choice as a second camera for those with a bag full of dSLR equipment. Since this camera is part of the Kodak Easy System you can easily edit your pics with the included software, share your pictures over the Internet, or dock with an Easyshare printer and print your photos at home.”

Digital Photographer Mag - 10/30/2006 - (October 2006 Issue) has reviewed the 6.1 megapixel Kodak EasyShare V610 and here’s the verdict - “The V610 does not offer aperture or shutter priority modes and no manual control. It’s not a giant leap to imaging future dual lens models with image stabilization and smooth continuous zooming, not to mention more exposure controls and slightly quicker response time.”
RegHardware - 10/11/2006 - has reviewed the 6.1 megapixel Kodak EasyShare V610 and here’s the verdict - “”My worries about this camera revolve around the issue of image blur from camera shake. The camera’s noise control is good but not good enough at ISO 800, which is a shame because it’s the only option open to you to get faster shutter speeds at those longer focal lengths.
Despite this, the Kodak EasyShare V610 is a remarkably compact camera with an impressive zoom range and produces the sort of shots most snappers will be more than delighted with.”
Digital Camera Shopper Mag - 10/11/2006 - (Semptember 2006 issue) has reviewed the 6.1 megapixel Kodak EasyShare V610 and here’s the verdict - “”Almost all the time color and tone performance was impressive while sharpness was very good with both lenses. As we hoped, the provision of two different zoom lenses also reduced distortions at each end of the mighty zoom.

Cameras.co.uk - 10/10/2006 - reviews the 6.1 megapixel Kodak EasyShare V610 and writes - “The Kodak Easyshare V610 certainly offers something different. A 10x optical zoom lens in a pocket sized camera body. At the time of writing this review it is the smallest digital camera available offering this zoom capacity. Picture quality does not quite hit the highs other cameras manage, but the size and zoom will be attractive to many.”
