Fujifilm FinePix V10

Digital Camera Shopper - 8/16/2006 - magazine (issue 35) reviewed the 6.3 megapixel FinePix V10 and here’s the verdict - “The V10 is undoubtedly a beautiful camera and there’s plenty to praise. However, its clunky menu navigation will frustrate those looking for more control. For the rest of us looking a stylish snapper, the V10 will entertain you in quiet moments and record your memories with efficiency when you’re ready to shoot.”

T3 - 8/7/2006 - has a new review of the 6.3 megapixel Fujifilm’s FinePix V10 and here’s the verdict - “Don’t underestimate this fun camera. It’s fast, has some great features and takes good snaps - a real gem.”

Macworld - 7/21/2006 - has a new review of the 6.3 megapixel Fujifilm’s FinePix V10 and rate it 2.5 out 5 - “The Fujifilm FinePix V10, shows good exposure accuracy but subpar sharpness and noise at high ISOs. Its big LCD and high ISO settings are nice, but battery life is limited and image quality is average.”

Zone Numerique, - 06/30/2006 - a French site (Google translated) has a new review of the 6.3 megapixel Fujifilm’s FinePix V10 and writes -

“The design is very successful since it is so small and it was difficult incorporating the large 3 inch screen, and yet it’s very comfortable. Obviously, the V10 is made to be used in automatic mode or in scene mode and having to fumble for the buttons and various adjustments will be rarer than with a more advanced model.”

Imaging Resource - 06/27/2006 - has a new review of the 6.3 megapixel Fujifilm’s FinePix V10 and writes -

“Under low light and more contrasty conditions, however, the Fujifilm V10 fared less well despite its vaunted “low-noise” high ISO settings of 800 and 1,600: a disappointment. Many of the shots I took at 800 and 1,600 were riddled with noise and chromatic aberration. Similarly, while I loved the concept of the “Natural Light & With Flash” mode which takes two shots in succession, under lower lighting, the Natural Light shots with boosted ISOs of 800 or 1,600 came out splotchy while the flash shots looked blown out. Under decent lighting though, the mode produced better results.”

Lets Go Digital - 06/20/2006 - has a new updated review of the 6.3 megapixel Fujifilm’s FinePix V10 and writes -

“All in all, the Fuji FinePix V10 leaves very little to be desired. It is simply a pleasant and user-friendly camera to work with, one that attaches particular value to ease and convenience, whilst producing fantastic images. What more could you possibly want?”

Cameras UK - 06/06/2006 - has posted a new review of the 6.3 megapixel Fujifilm’s FinePix V10 and here are the results -

“The Fuji Finepix V10 offers something different from other digital cameras. It is best suited to someone who looks on photography as fun and would like a camera for snaps shots at parties and on holiday. You can find better picture quality elsewhere, but if the special features of the camera are attractive to you then it is well worth considering.”

Digital Camera Review - 05/31/2006 - has posted a new review of the 6.3 megapixel Fujifilm’s FinePix V10 and here are the results -

“The Fujifilm FinePix V10 is a 21st century version of George Eastman’s 19th Century Kodak box camera, the world’s very first point & shoot. Like Eastman’s camera, the V10 was designed to be easy to use (just line up the image in the viewfinder and push the shutter button), capable of consistently capturing very good pictures in a variety of outdoor settings, and not too expensive. Like Eastman’s camera, the V10 makes it easy to capture those moments, people, and places that illustrate our life stories.”
