Review- Index – (updated 09 February’09)

DigitalCameraReview
“There are a number of digital cameras in the $150 price range of the Casio Exilim EX-Z150. This one seems fussier than most, requiring special considerations to obtain simple snapshots. Not recommended for action photography, but quite capable of still photography, the Exilim EX-Z150 has some redeeming stylistic and features touches. But with lots of other good options, it’s hard to feel too strongly about this one.”

Megapixel
“The Z150 has a number of features that give a clickster flexibility when shooting. Exposure compensation, for instance, allows a shot to be taken out of the shadows and into a more natural light.”

Wired
“But as you might expect, the camera produces considerable image noise when the lights are low and the ISO high. With sufficient lighting, however, you’ll get smooth, sharp, well-balanced photos.”

Steves Digicams
“A very easy to use, 8-Megapixel, point and shoot. With the 4x wide optical zoom lens and 22 “Best Shot” modes, it is easy to find a setting for almost any shooting situation. The only drawbacks to the camera are 1) the performance, which is a bit slow, and 2) the weak flash.”

LapTopMag
“Shooting with the EX-Z150 in generally fun and easy, but its slowness can frustrate even patient photographers. The camera takes 3 seconds to power up, and approximately 3 seconds between shots without flash.”

Actual Owner Feedback
