Steve’s Digicams - 11/18/2006 - reviewes the 7.2 megapixel Exilim Zoom EX-Z70 and writes - “I was a little disappointed with this latest addition to Casio’s Exilim Zoom line. While image quality is up to par with many other manufacture’s 7-megapixel models, the obvious Anti-shake high ISO noise issue and the average shooting performance might turn many users away. Therefore, with an MSRP of about US$250, I feel the EX-Z70 offers an Ok value for an “ultra-compact” 7-megapixel model.”

CNET - 10/24/2006 - has reviewed the 7.2 megapixel Exilim Zoom EX-Z70 and writes - “Though its slim size and price tag make it quite appealing, the Casio Exilim EX-Z70 has a few notable quirks to overcome. If you don’t mind getting used to shooting in a certain rhythm or gingerly carrying the camera in your pocket, the Z70 could be a nice, responsive choice.”

DigitalCameraReview - 10/5/2006 - has reviewed the 7.2 megapixel Exilim Zoom EX-Z70 and writes - “The Casio Exilim EX-Z70 does make a good beginners camera, especially a beginner who likes a little style and the camera’s compact size. If you’re overwhelmed, just try the simple mode. Do you want to get creative? Try out the Best Shot scene modes, of which there are more than enough to keep you happy. The pocketability of the camera makes it very easy to carry around, and the good battery life will keep you shooting as long as you need. Image quality is good, especially outdoors. Indoor shots can be plagued with digital noise or graininess, so play around with the settings to get the best results. Most point and shoot digital cameras are capable of taking very good pictures when you take the time to learn the camera and its limitations.”

Cameras.co.uk - 9/21/2006 - has reviewed the 7.2 megapixel Exilim Zoom EX-Z70 and writes - “The Casio Exilim EX-Z70 is one of the cheaper seven megapixel, pocket sized digital cameras. I like its style and ease of use. Picture quality outdoors in decent light is roughly inline with what I would expect from this type of camera, but when the light gets low it struggles.”

Ken Rockwell - 9/13/2006 - has reviewed the 7.2 megapixel Exilim Zoom EX-Z70 and writes - “The EX-Z70 is a swell camera that’s easy to love. It weighs the same as the higher-end cameras, but has a little bigger size. This means it’s less dense, and feels like it weighs less in your pocket. It looks great and works wonderfully. I’d be all over it, except that at $249 it’s very close in price to much better models.”
