Digital Camera Shopper Mag (July 2006 issue) has reviewed the 6 megapixel Canon Powershot S3 IS and have awarded the Editor’s Choice Award for Super Zooms. They continue to write - “In the field the S3 IS was a joy to use. Canon’s USM (Ultra Sonic Motor) lens provided very fast and practically silent focusing, which was consistently accurate.”
