There were more problems before purchasing the Canon Rebel XS..My mistake was to buy it from 47th st Camera and Video in NYC. Again, be careful with their sales people. Just and go someplace else. The best place, in my opinion, is located at 9th st, and you can find almost anything in amateur and professional photography and video. Starts with B

Image output is what expected..not bad.There are 3 problems with Canon: 1. No Customers support, 2. NO real \\"International Warranty, 3. Err99, on my 599USD new Rebel XS…There is a Q.A problem with them…err 99, is a design problem on over DSLR cameras!. be wise and read err99 forums. I´m a professional photographer and it´s impossible to depend on this equipment.

A good camera to start with, have been using it for 6 months now but find the images grainy and not sharp compared to the same snaps taken from D60 or even D40
