Leica has announced the 37.5 megapixel CCD sensor autofocus S2 DSLR designed for professional photographers. The new S2 is centered around a 30×45mm sensor which is 56% larger than 35mm full-frame. Sigma announces the 14 megapixel HD DP2, a large sensor compact camera. It comes with a 41mm (35mm equiv.) lens, rather than the 28mm equiv. lens of DP1. The DP2 includes the True II image processing engine which is also in the new SD15 DSLR.
